“There are those who seek knowledge for the sake of knowledge; that is Curiosity.
There are those who seek knowledge to be known by others; that is Vanity.
There are those who seek knowledge in order to serve; that is Love.”

Dear Friends,

As soon as Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement, pro-abortion groups began lobbying the U.S. Senate to reject any nominee who does not promise to endorse Roe v. Wade. We should certainly raise grave concerns about a confirmation process that is being grossly distorted by efforts to subject judicial nominees to a litmus test of support for abortion. And we must pray

Each Friday, from August 3 to September 28, 2018, we’ll have the opportunity to join in a nine week effort of prayer, fasting and education that a change in the U.S. Supreme Court will move our nation closer to the day when every human being is protected in law and welcomed in life.

As part of the USCCB Call to Prayer, participants can receive weekly prayer reminders by text message or email. In addition to the current invitation to fast on Fridays, participants will be encouraged to pray one Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be for this intention and will receive important facts about how Roe is not health care, is bad law, and fails women. I encourage you to sign up at

Sincerely yours in Christ, Most. Reverend Thomas Wenski
Archbishop of Miami

Why would intelligent, successful people give up careers, alienate friends, and cause havoc in their become Catholic? As he was considering his own move into the Church, Donald Johnson traveled around the country to get answers from some of today’s most prolific Catholic converts.

“Get up and eat, else the journey will be too long for you!” 1 KINGS 19:7

Jesus knows that our stewardship journey will be difficult; we are not designed to do it on our own. Fortunately, Jesus gave us the greatest gift of all – the gift of the Eucharist; His own body and blood. When we join our sacrifices with the sacrifice of the Mass, we find the strength and courage to be His joyful disciples.

Parish Registration

Are You Registered?

Did you know that demographic studies estimate that more than 1/3 of all Catholics are not registered in a parish? If you are not registered in our parish, please consider doing so. Also, please encourage your friends and family to register! Registering is important because:

  • If a parish doesn’t know who is out there, how can it adequately serve the needs of all – especially singles, divorced or young families who may not see the need to register?
  • When the services of the Church are needed - such as for a wedding, Baptism or funeral - it is easier if the person is registered.
  • Registered parishioners have smaller donation requirements for sacraments.
  • Parishioners who use their envelopes or online giving are considered active-registered parishioners which makes your kids eligible for a tuition discount in Catholic schools.

Registering is easy. Follow the steps in the following link to register in our parish: You can also register at the parish office. If you are visiting our Church, find the parish nearest your home and contact their parish office today!
