Prior to the Easter holiday, students in fourth through eighth grades participated in the Living Stations of the Cross, presented by the eighth graders. The Way of the Cross focused on and was presented from Mary's perspective.

The school will be closed for the Easter Holiday from April 18th to 28th. Happy Easter to all St. Agnes families! Classes resume on Monday, April 29th.
While learning about the letter Vv, PK-3 students created a volcano. Students also learned about the continent of Africa and explored the “jungle” in search of wild animals.
During Language Arts class, students in PK-4 reviewed their vowels and practiced their handwriting. In Religion class, students role played events from Holy Week. Click here to see the video.
As part of a service project, Kindergarten students assembled "Love Bags" for the homeless. Each bag included a sandwich, water, fruit and a special message.
Second graders learned about capacity measurement and did a gallon relay race, pouring liquids and making the "gallon man."
Students in fourth grade Science class were given a bag of "matter" to classify as they saw fit (ex: weight, length, texture, color). Meanwhile in Language Arts class, students made a presentation after doing research about Greek mythology.
Fifth grade Language Arts students worked in small groups, reinforcing differentiated learning and beginning their journey of reading the last novel for the school year. In addition, students reviewed and drew pictures of idioms.
Fifth graders have been praying the Stations of the Cross daily in Religion class.
In Art class, fourth graders continued working on a replica of Pablo Picasso's "Guernica."
