The Altar Servers Ministry is one wherein children are invited to serve and assist the priest on the altar during all Masses offered at our parish.
At St. Agnes, our Angel Tree team works with the whole parish community to ensure that the children of prisoner’s receive gifts for Christmas, even when their parents are unable to provide.
This Ministry assists the domestic workers of Key Biscayne by providing Bible and English classes, community building, medical services including treatment, and immigration and employment assistance.
The purpose of this ministry is to give young adults, college age and above, an opportunity to grow in faith and deepen their religious formation. This ministry could use the help of young adults and adults in various ways.
St. Agnes Emmaus is a Ministry of evangelization, which is responsible for preparing and organizing the Emmaus retreats twice per year (in both English and Spanish). Registration forms are found online in the Event section before there is a retreat.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
Lay people, known as Eucharistic Ministers, can perform an active role helping parish priests by distributing Communion at Mass and taking Communion to the sick, hospitalized, and homebound who cannot attend Mass.
Homeless Camillus House
Once per month, in the comfort of your own kitchen using a recipe provided, you prepare a meal for the homeless of Camillus House.
St. Agnes for the Homeless
Every other Friday, this ministry serves meals and help the homeless in the streets of Miami. They also support them with donations of clothing, hygiene products, and blankets.

This ministry provides a sense of belonging to all who come to our parish, including new parishioners, returning parishioners, and visitors. Duties include staffing our “Welcome Table” before and after Masses, distributing welcome packets to new parishioners, organizing welcome receptions, and coordinating the needs of new parishioners.
The lector ministry is a very important part of our St. Agnes community because lectors help disseminate the Word of God during the celebration of the Mass.
The marriage covenant retreat consists of a weekend of activities, talks, and exercises to strengthen marriages. Registration forms are found online in the Event section before there is a retreat. There are 2 retreats in Spanish per year. English retreats will be coming soon.
Our parish music ministry serves to inspire and uplift by providing music at most Masses. Participants are welcome to sing or play an instrument.
We are blessed at St. Agnes to have a perpetual adoration chapel, with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament twenty-four hours a day, and seven days a week. This requires volunteers to be at the Chapel 24/7. We ask that each volunteer commit to a specific day and hour, once per week. If you cannot commit to an hour per week, you can also become a substitute.
This ministry provides faith formation and preparation for the sacraments through St. Agnes Academy, RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) and the CCD/Catechism program.
This Ministry supports the pregnancy crisis centers of the Archdiocese of Miami through fundraising, encouraging couples or single mothers to welcome their babies by providing them with basic needs and, most of all, assistance and compassion from the volunteers.
Rosary Altar Society
This ministry promotes devotion to the Rosary and is also dedicated to the care of the Altar and vestments, the church’s décor, flowers, linens, candles, and seasonal decorations.
Spiritual growth is something that should never cease in the life of a Catholic. We offer our parishioners many opportunities for formation such as bible classes, spiritual and catechetical courses, social doctrine seminars, daily rosaries, and prayer meetings.
The purpose of this ministry is to offer support for those experiencing grief, sickness or separation/divorce so that they don’t have to go through it alone. This ministry is looking for volunteers.
Our mission is to help provide a welcoming, orderly, and peaceful environment for all parishioners during Masses at St. Agnes. This includes welcoming parishioners to Mass, distributing bulletins, managing crowds, facilitating collections, and directing parishioners during Communion.
The Why Catholic Ministry gathers small Christian communities of eight to twelve parishioners who get together to reflect and share in the Sacred Scriptures and Catechism of the Catholic Church. Intimate groups provide an ideal, supportive environment for evangelization and adult faith formation.
